  • Caillou Outdoors – They make a scarecrow to keep the birds away from the garden.
  • Springtime for Caillou – A Vaentine’s Day story

Our Thoughts: During the episodes the kids will learn about gardening, Valentine's Day, nature, sports and a lot more. One thing that I really have loved about the Caillou series is that they not only teach our kids about everyday life, but it also shows them how to use their imagination to have an adventure whenever you need some fun in life.

The episodes on this DVD were not new to us, as they have all aired on television before. With that said we liked being able to watch them anytime that we wanted. We also enjoyed the activities that came along with the DVD. The PC game is one of those activities. Its a game where your kid(s) become paleontologists (Ross Geller on Friends!) and discover Dinosaur fossils. You sweep away the dust and place them in the correct box. He thought it was much cooler then putting his plastic blocks into the proper cylinder holes. This game is great teaching tool for your kids to become more familiar with a computer mouse as well! The coloring pages that you could print were also a nice touch.

In-conclusion, even if you are like us and have seen all the episodes this DVD still has a lot of value to offer. Don't you agree? We sure think so and are giving "The Best of Caillou: Caillou's Outdoor Adventures" DVD 2 thumbs-up!

I love Caillou! My cousin finds him bratty and won't let her kids watch it... but I don't see it.

We don't have cable or satellite but I am familiar with the books and toys. It is nice that the DVD comes with some extras!
